What an amazing few months it's been. We are full force moving forward to open
bee organics by October!
It's real and exhilarating and phenomenally crazy!
This is my first experience with starting a business and surely a first time really being involved in every aspect of creating something from the ground up.
The support and positive energy is astounding and I can't imagine how amazing that opening day will be.
But for now I am focused on product and the menu......my favorite part of course!
I found a new recipe that I wanted to share for no bake super protein cookies.
Thank you Jason Wrobel for the inspiration.
Super Protein No Bake Cookies
Ingredients (organic):
1 c raw oats (gluten free if possible)
1/2 c raw nut butter (I used almond)
1/4 c grade b maple syrup
1/4 c coconut oil
1/2 tsp vanilla bean powder (or extract)
pinch celtic salt
2 tbsp raw vegan protein powder (sunwarrior chocolate was my choice)
To do:
-take oats and process until slightly chunky, not a powder
-add remaining ingredients
-process until combined and it starts to form a ball in processor
-line a baking sheet with parchment paper
-scoop dough and roll them into balls
-flatten the tops a little to create a cookie look.....or keep them as balls
-refrigerate for at least 1 hr or overnight
-the coconut oil will solidify and harden the cookies
I had 2 for breakfast and I'm still full 3 hrs later.
Enjoy!
