the incredible edible egg????

The Incredible Edible EGG???

It's been about 4ish years since I have taken the life path of a vegan. My intentions are to live a healthy life without harming ANY other beings that share this space with us. That seems like a noble, conscious, and loving thing to do. Come to find out I am seriously depleted in a few very important essential vitamins. NOT GOOD! so....here is my dilemma. How do i switch off my conscience so that I can create a healthy home for my future babies? How do I suddenly forget all of the documentaries and books that flood my shelves and mind? I don't think it is possible for me at this time to make such a switch. I knew I wasn't taking all of the supplements I should have been, but I was in no way a "junk food" vegan!

Needless to say, I am taking supplements......eating "responsible" eggs(arg) and soon will be getting b12 injections.

My md/chinese medicine gynecologist says to "eat meat once a week....thats all"......nope, not gonna happen.

I put my foot down for the sake of all the creatures I hold so dear to my heart. It's impossible for me to backtrack to a place where I can enjoy eating something that once had nursed it's own young.

So here I sit.... moody and tired...(b12, vit d)....excited to flood my system with these supplements that will hopefully bring me back to normal!

PLUME....setting the intention.

Time keeps rolling by. My 30th year has thus far been busy and wonderful! I have been feeling this creative itch....all of my life....but especially lately. I am trying to find new ways to inspire myself and to keep my Intention of a store fresh in my memory. I've had this dream of creating a space where all of the most beautiful things in life can exist. yoga, food, and the pretty things we surround ourselves with and live in. a place where someone could come and have a cup of tea....be inspired by the surroundings....or even take a yoga class. It exists everywhere, just not quite as I imagine it.

PEACOCKThe peacock is a possessor of some of the most admired human characteristics, and is a symbol of integrity and the beauty we can achieve when we endeavor to show our true colors.

I love this!

This has most recently become my muse. One day I hope to create PLUME.

A place of integrity, beauty, and freedom of expression!....not to mention a damn good meal!

I officially have set my intention. Maybe this will grow into the space I imagine, or, it could end up being my home. who knows!

I am welcoming whatever is in store for me......I am ready!

Green Land!

Josh & I just came back from our journey to a distant land.....Portland, Oregon!

We were welcoming my 30th year....after an amazing surprise party.....with our dear friends who now live there.

I already knew before we left that I would love the vibe of this super conscious city. I was correct! Not only did I love it, but Josh loved it....maybe even more!

Portland is a city of music....art....eco-lifestyling....and of course food!

Being a vegan has its challenges....especially living in WPB, Fl (no offense).

I was like a kid in a candy store! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner....vegan options all over.

A few of my favs were right in the city.

Prasad, which is a cafe inside Pearl Yoga, great classes, had the most amazing breakfast...maybe ever!

It was a bowl with beans, kale, rice, quinoa, avo, tempeh, and yummy sauces.

If you ever get the chance to go to Portland you MUST go here.

Vita Cafe.....vegan biscuits and gravy!!! Thia was a first for me.....and they also have non-vegan options.

Portabello....a fine dining experience....beautiful space....just not quite as awwed by the food. They did however have vegan tiramisu....scrumptious!!

As many people have seen on the food channel, VOODOO Donuts, definitely lived up to the hype. We were strongly urged by my bro to check it out and I'm so happy we did! I helped myself to 2 donuts. The classic glazed and then the old dirty bastard which had peanut butter and oreos. yes....i know....sinful! and................vegan!

Last but not least....the food carts of PDX. My favorite was the Whole Bowl. She has a "secret sauce" that was yummers. Thats the pic at the top. The perfect warm and healthy treat.

Needless to say our Portland experience was delightful and breath taking. The coast was beautiful with its snow covered hills and the city was energetic yet peaceful. The best of both worlds.

And now....I hope to bring that same peaceful, healthy, conscious, yummyness to south fl. Who knows what the future holds!
